Jafus, as for me the level of the noise is bearable. i didn't apply any noise reducing filters as i didn't want to lose any details on the bug. i will try harder next time and will do some more retouching

Poohblah, i took this picture with my nikkor 18-70 (kit). it's not very good for macro photography, so the close-up doesn't look very impressive
